F/U to Ultrasound

I had my first appointment yesterday and we had quite a shock during the ultrasound...

TWINS due March 2nd!!!

It took 18 months of charting to conceive my daughter and now we get pregnant with twins the day after my husband returns from deployment! I'm in total shock! This is so scary and exciting!

Wow! Congrats!

I'll admit...it would totally freak me out if I saw that on the ultrasound. Haha...but I also think that twins are really special and that it will be awesome to grow up with a sibling the same age as you.

If both babies shared a sack, they would definitely be identical but mine do not. There is still a 30% chance that they could be identical but I'm not sure if can tell before birth. I have so much to learn!

Congrats!! My DH and I are both twins with an older sibling. One thing my DHs mom did that was great was to set aside a time for just her and the older sibling each week so he didnt feel abandoned when the twins were born. Happy and healthy 9 months to you!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We're so lucky! It's just funny because when we found out we were expecting I was thinking that pregnancy was going to be a breeze. I've been there, done that, and it was easy! Then this bombshell. I guess it proves that you can never get too comfortable or life will throw you a curveball!
