Feeding ?

I just weaned and we are all bottles now with formula. How long do your babes go between feedings? Mine are only taking 2 to 3 oz every 3 to 3 1/2 hours. Should it be every 4 with formula?

    how much are you offering? every baby is different but that doesnt seem like a lot to me. but then again how big is your baby? maybe mines just a chunk but she takes 6 ounce bottles every 3-4 hrs

    6 oz every 3 to 4 hrs is our norm. I'd start off offering more. Our son often won't want more if we have to run to make more

    Baby girl is almost 4 mo and has been at  6 oz for at least 2mo.  She doesn't always finish but more often than not.

    Every baby is different.  Our LO is now taking between 5 & 6oz every 4 hours about 4-5 times a day.  2-3 oz doesn't seem like much to me, but I'm sure your LO will let you know if they are still hungry.  :)

    You can still feed on demand with formula.  Mine eats between 5 and 7 oz every 2 1/2 to 4 hours.  When he gets fussy and won't settle, if it's been at least 2 1/2 hours since his last bottle then I will feed him.  There isn't a need for a set schedule.  Just follow your children's hunger cues.

    We offer six and she usually eats 3 to 5 but mostly 4 oz every 3 to 4 hours. She just isn't a super eater yet. Unfortunately this still means lots of night wakings.
