mobile: Is there a "when did you start to show" thread someone can point me to?

If so, ignore this, if not... curious when your PG became clear to others. Mister D would like to wait to share until his b-day which will be 17w.  Confused

I don't know/doubt if we can make it that far and still be visibly hiding it.

4w c/p loss 10/29/12 - EDD July 2013

Long story: trying on our own + testing testing testing with 6 rounds of Clomid, more testing, injectables + TI, laparoscopy - one tube blocked, 2 IUIs with Follistim...BFNs.
RPL testing all normal, Karyotyping normal

Moving on to IVF.

IVF #1 April 2012 = BFN, IVF #2 June 2012 = BFP. U/S 7/23 = saw heartbeat but measuring behind. Follow up U/S on 7/30 - no heartbeat. D&C 8/2. Trisomy 12. IVF #3 Oct 2012 = Chemical Pregnancy

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
IVF #4 March 2013 CCRM. EP protocol w/ Menopur, Gonal-F & Dexamethasone. ER 3/29 & IMSI, PICSI. 43R 13M 10F 6blasts bio'd. CCS testing reveals 3 normals!!!
FET 5/31/13 of 1 4AA blast - thawed and expanded. 4dp5dt BFP.
Beta 9dp5dt = 181, 11dp5dt = 427. 1st u/s showed a healthy heartbeat! EDD 2/16/14

After 4 years of hoping and heartbreak, our sweet little bean was born on 2/19/14
We are so in love with her.

    I think a lot of when you are showing is dependent on your body.  I personally thought I was showing at around 15 weeks but looking back at pictures it was hardly anything noticeable! We didn't really have an option to wait to share because my morning sickness was so severe we couldn't conceal it. I guess there's a chance you could keep it a secret until his BD, but don't be surprised if people are on to your secret before then!

    I was in maternity pants at 12w. I'm at 17 now and I am very obviously pregnant even to strangers. But that's me, everyone is different. There was a girl at yoga last night who was 20w and still had a completely flat stomach. B!tch. J/k. :-)

    I'm 18 weeks and not showing. I definitely have a little extra weight in the middle, but not a bump, just the same bloat I've had since 6 weeks. FWIW, I'm 5'9 and my cousin who is due 3 days ahead me and only 5'4 was noticeably showing two weeks ago.

    With DS1 I started showing around 15-16 weeks, DS2 was around 12 weeks and this time around 10 weeks

    With DD I started showing at 20s. With this pregnancy (twins) I just started showing.  I will be 17 weeks tomorrow.

    I would say that I started to have a bump around 15w.

    Thanks all, not sure what to expect and I know everyone's different. The gals in my office tend to announce around 15-20 weeks, and I had no clue they we're PG many times, despite being highly alert (PGAL mode) of pregnancies.

    I'm 5'8" and at 9w4d today still in normal jeans/pants etc... also tend to wear more loose clothing (tunics etc...) that's are not body conscious, if that makes sense. 

    I think (obvs?) we'll play it by ear. We've already talked about it possibly not working out for him, and he's ok with that.

    I am tall (6ft) and thin. To me, I couldnt really tell there was a bump until about 18 weeks. (I could tell pudge, but not bump.) Most people didnt notice until well after 20w.

    The first time anyone at work asked me was at 18 weeks. I was wearing maternity pants around 12, but sort of just looked like I'd been eating too much.

    I don't know when people started to notice.

    I thought I was showing at 15 weeks.
    At 18 weeks I went to California to see my family, and no one noticed I was pregnant until we actually told them. I wasnt particularly hiding it, but not blantly dressig for it either. My father made a comment like "I thought you were looking a little thick around the middle". Thanks dad.

    I thought I was REALLY showing at 20weeks, like I'm not even bother hiding it at work showing. Then at 26 weeks, my co workers over heard me talking I a colleague about being pregnant, and the dress I was wearing made me look huge, and everyone in the office was like "I had NO idea!!!"

    Point being, your perception of yourself is VERY different than others are of you. Tell when you want to, not because you feel you have to.

    I think people really started noticing at 18w but strangers didn't say anything until maybe 24 weeks or so.

    I should also note that I am a freak of nature and I grow huge bellies and I have a high/tilted ute so I show early naturally.

    Taking into account that I'm a little fluffy in the middle to begin with (was a size 10-12 pre-pg), and I have a pretty short torso (so, nowhere for baby to go but out)...

    DH and I could tell around 14-15 weeks, people who knew me well and saw me every day started to notice around 17-18 weeks, and I got my first random comment from someone who didn't know me between 20-21 weeks.

    I really think it just depends on your body and genetics. Everyone told me it was just bloat, just bloat, not showing...but I swear I started showing around 12 weeks if not sooner. As soon as I told people at work, they all said they had suspicions because of my belly. I know with your first you supposedly don't show as soon, but man. At this rate I'm going to be showing before the second pee line shows up with the next one (if I'm lucky enough to have another!).

    FWIW, I didn't really show sooner with my second, but when I started to show it popped faster, if that makes sense. I've heard that with subsequent children you don't necessarily get bigger, but you get big faster and then growth might be slower in the later weeks.

    I know a girl who's pregnant with her third in four years. She's 16 weeks. She looks like I did at 35 weeks. I hope it stops for her soon. :/ 

    That makes sense. I feel like I kind of started off fast and have leveled out a little. I haven't gained an alarming amount of weight so I'm not particularly worried about it. But it was harder to hide and I'm getting a ton of, "are you positive there's only one in there??" comments. At least no strangers are rubbing my belly yet! *knock on wood*

    I'm pregnant with my 3rd in 4 years also, my belly is huge already. I have a friend who is 18 weeks and I am easily as big as she is :0/ I'm tall and on the thinner side so it's easy to tell its a baby bump thankfully.

    I am 18 weeks and in the last week I have finally begun to look pregnant. I have been in maternity pants for about 4 weeks simply for comfort :)

    This is my third pregnancy and I'm 14 weeks and people notice ready. I'm also a bit heavier in my midsection so I think the fat got pushed out of the way.
    But I work with women who is 18 weeks and unless she is hearing something tight, it's hard to tell she's pregnant

    I am not really around much anymore. Wile MH and I haven't officially said "we're not having kids" it's pretty much going that way so I've found it's easier to just stay away from the bump altogether.

    It has been a long journey for you I couldn't be happier for you that things are happening for you!
