How would you pronounce Hadley?

When I first came across this name Hadley, I fell in love with it. It really struck a chord with me because it reminded me of my great grandmother, Hattie Lee. In my head I pronounced it "Had-lee", but I recently heard it prounounced "Hayd-lee" and am wondering if that's the norm. I don't know a Hadley, or I'd just go with however she pronounced her name. What do you ladies think?

Hadlee. Love the name. It is too close to my name, Hattie, for me to use though.

HAD-lee.
I don't think that other pronunciation is correct.
I like this name a lot; it was the name of Ernest Hemingway's wife.

It is DD's name so I clearly love it. We call Haddie/Hattie sometimes.

HAD-lee. There's a town Hadley near me and that's how it's pronounced. With the english language in mind, HAYD-lee doesn't make much sense.

It's Had-lee. Hayd-lee is weird and wrong. I like Hadley and I don't think people would pronounce it any other way that how you do.

A friend of mine's daughter is named this. She pronounces it Had-lee.

Seriously. I could not for the life of me imagine how else it would be pronounced.

Maybe the confusion is from Hailey/Halle/Hayley/Haley issues?
