Just wondering what the nights are like for those who are breast feeding. Right now my LO eats around 10 pm and then goes down til around 2:30, then back down and is up again at 5:30 or 6 to eat. He then is up until his long morning nap.
He sleeps in the Rock and play but sometimes I will pull him in bed with me for that MOTN feeding and he just stays there.
I'm wondering if BF babies ever start sleeping through that MOTN feed? If so, does your milk supply adjust okay? I'm so tired. I would love to have hope that someday soon I will get to sleep a whole five hours in a row.

Well the 3 mo growth spurt has changed everything but my LO would go to sleep around 9pm and sleep until 2, 3, or 4 and them go back down for another two hours after a feeding. At first your bresat get engorged, hurt and feel like big rocks! But if u do nothing they will adjust. I always pumped at midnight to release myself and build up a supply stash. I am glad I did becuz my LO's STTN isn't routine enough that I would want my supply to adjust.
DS usually eats around 9 and takes a short nap until 11. He'll eat again and then usually sleep until 4 or 5, 6 if I'm lucky. He goes back down after that feeding and eats again around 8. I feel pretty lucky that he's a good sleeper.
My ds1 who I bf until he was 18 months slept from 66 at 6 months old after sleep training and we almost never had to do a MOTN feeding. Your boobs will adjust in three days to what ever schedule your LO decides.

Every baby is different... DS didn't STTN until we night weaned at about 9 months - still woke up for paci/comforting for another month. DD is already STTN consistently. My boobs tend to be engorged in the morning, but no leaking over night thankfully. You adjust. And you will get sleep again eventually. . Did your twins STTN early?
As PPs noted, every baby is so different even is they're the same sex and are both bf'd. My DS1 didn't consistently STTN until he was 1 yrs old. I was a zombie! My DS2, now 11 weeks, has been STTN with 910 hr stretches since he was 2 weeks old. Since then he has maybe woken up a handful of times at 2 or 3. It's like night and day between my two boys. The first was highneeds and colicky and this one is so chill and easy.
My boobs were miserable for a few days, but then were fine overnight. I still am really full in the morning and am anxious for him to eat or to pump to relieve pressure, but they aren't completely engorged anymore.
DS will sleep 5 to 6 hours at night before waking to eat. I have no issues with my milk. BF babies can STTN. Once they get over 3 months, you'll see they can sleep longer than 5 hours

DD eats around 9 sleep around 10 then up 5 and awake for awhile then 7:30 or so. She still sometimes wakes around 2.
The first few times she slept through the 2 I woke up in pain and soaked. I pumped before bed at 11 to help the transition. After a few weeks I didn't need to pump and I'm fine. Everything adjusted. And it's still fine if she is hungry at 2 or sleeps.

Thank you!! I didn't breast feed my twins this long, so by this time they were FF and yes, sleeping all night! I'm so so happy to be EBFing LO, but I do miss the sleep haha!

DS is 15 weeks and started STTN two weeks ago. He goes to bed around 9 and wakes up between 5 and 6. My body hasn't adjusted yet and I have to pump in the am to get comfortable. I had mastitis week 2 so I am being extra cautious about getting any lumps out ASAP.
I nurse my daughter to sleep around 8pm and she'll usually want to eat again around 4am and then go back to sleep.
Now, if I actually went to sleep when she does, that would mean a full eight hours, but instead I stay up and do really important things like watch a wide array of junk on Netflix.
She's up again at around 8am and if I can get her on the boob before she's really up, then she'll fall back to sleep until around 9:30am. All in all, not too bad.
My 12 week old is pretty consistent with a few exceptions. He's in bed asleep by 11pm, wakes between 3 and 4 to eat, back asleep until 530 or 6, off and on sleep until 7 and then he's awake and ready to start the day.

My schedule is still pretty much like yours. My LO is almost 13 weeks. Missing that extra sleep too.

DS regularly sleeps 8 - 10 hours at night now, and has slept that long for roughly 2 - 3 weeks. Before that he'd sleep 7 or 8, and prior to that 6 or 7. You get the point. As he started sleeping longer I'd wake up really engorged - but adjusted after a few days. Now if he wakes up earlier than usual (or when I do to check on him or something) I'm not very full, but still have plenty to satisfy him easily.
My DS will be 3months on Wednesday, I EBF, and he now STTN. Around eight weeks he got down to one MOTN feed between 3 and 4 am. That gradually moved back, and now he sleeps from about 9pm until 7am. We count ourselves exceedingly lucky! He does tend to cluster feed in the evenings and do a marathon nurse right before bed... I just follow his cues. Since his feeding gradually moved back, my body was able to,adjust, but I do feel petty full first thing in the morning. Good luck and know that it will happen eventually... Every baby is different!

Marley isn't very scheduled but I'm hoping to give her a little more structure once our crazy traveling is over (next week). Right now she goes to bed for good between 9-10ish and sleeps until about 6ish, then goes back to sleep until 9-10.

I feed my dd at 9 and then put her to sleep and she sleeps until 630am. This has been her s schedule since 10 weeks and I still wake up engorged. But the engorgement isn't as bad as it use to be.

Baby Boy is almost 3 months old and consistently wakes up 3 x a night. I have just come to think that there is no such thing as a 5 hour stretch of sleep and that anyone who claims otherwise is a lying liar who lies.
Re: BF moms...nights?
What sleep training did u follow?
