I was told to have LO suck something when we take off and land so that her ears don't pop. She is 13 months and does not take a bottle. I am thinking ill give her a sippy with milk when we take off, but am nervous because I can't 'make' her suck it rig then.... Any tips?

    does she take a pacifier that will work ok too. DS took a bottle during the firs take off, and then fell a sleep, but was awake for subsequent trips and did ok with a pacifier.

    I think a sippy with milk or water would be fine too.

    Even feeding food works. It's just about swallowing. Wait till you feel the pressure before offering. Otherwise they may be full/done by the time the rough part comes.
