2 Fetal Heartbeats on Doppler??

I am not stupid. I know the difference between my baby's heartbeat and my own. My husband and I always find baby to the right. The other day, we couldn't find babe and just as I was about to give up we found baby to the lower left. We talked about how could that be possible? The baby can't move that much, can it? Tonight we found a heartbeat at 167 to the left and 153 to the right. How the frick is that possible?? Could it be the placenta? We are frrrreaked out.

2nd U/S 3/20 FHR=118!!
3rd U/S 4/1 FHR=169 :)

DS Born October 30, 2009
BFP 5/27/11 Stick baby, stick!
HCG 5/31=140 P=9 HCG 6/2=292 P=11
1ST Ultrasound 6/15 FHR=109!!
U/S 8/18=IT'S A BOY! FHR-141 :)
DS Born January 20, 2012
BFP 5/27/13 EDD 2-5-14
U/S 8/17 FRH-141 It's a boy!!

    Have you had an ultrasound yet to rule out twins?

    They put the probe on my abdomen at 5w3d, said yep you're pregnant and told me I would have an official ultrasound later. Which is next week. But I only saw one.

    Yes, it's possible to be in a different spot.  The heartbeat can fluctuate that much too.  It is not the placenta.  You need an u/s to determine whether it's twins.  Finding the heartbeat in a different spot and getting a different number doesn't mean it's twins.  If you heard both at the same time, than yes, it would be more of a possibility.

    My DS moved like a mad man when I pulled the Doppler out. I am genuinely surprised you are actually able to find a heartbeat already though.
