hi ladies --

my step-sister is a little concerned about the growth of her little girl (and has made an appointment to speak to her dr about it this week) -- i'm just asking (for my own curiosity!!) how big your little girl was at 12 months old.

    28 inches, give or take. Just shy of, but had a growth spurt right after, putting her just over 28.

    27 inches but that's the 68th percentile. As long as her LO is staying consistent with growth then no worries.

    My DD was 31.5 inches tall at 12 months, but she's a monster baby!  I was told that was 95+ percentile. 

    As PP's said, if she's on her curve then she's probably fine.  However, if she's already made the appt and it's for her peace of mind as much as anything.

    LO was 27 inches today and I was told 25th percentile.  She's in the 95th for weight at 22lbs.

    Huh?

    My LO was 28.5" and the 10th percentile.... curious what charts your doc uses.

    But honestly, all kids are different and it can vary a lot; it's only significant changes on the charts that are of concern.

    My husband took her to her 1 yr checkup...maybe he gave me some wrong stats!! LOL!!

    It can vary so much.  DD was 32.25", 18 lbs 1 oz at 12 months old.  She didn't even double at that point and she is perfectly healthy.
