This is C. She can wear some 9-12 onesies because she has long legs and a shorter torso, but any long pants have to be 18 months (12 or 12-18 are too short). She really needs 24 month pants, but we can't keep them up around her waist--18 months are really too big, too, but we make them work.
Basically, we are taking full advantage of summer and not buying any pants right now!
My 16 month old already gets to experience the joys of being in the 97% in height--it is going to be a good bonding experience with her mama!
Caroline is in mainly 12 month clothes. Her pants are all big and she actually still wears some 6 month pants but I buy 12 month clothes and we use safety pins to keep her pants up.
Abby is in 18 month bottoms. She is also in 18 month tops but to make sure her summer stuff would fit through the summer, I bought tops in 24 month. She has a long torso.
Addy is primarily in 18 month clothes. A few of her 12 month things still fit, but they aren't really summer clothes anyway. We bought all her summer stuff in 18 month size and that should last her all summer.
He's in mostly 18m for tops (some of the 12m still fit, but often his Buddha belly sticks out.)
Depends on the brand for pants. Either 12m or 18m. A lot of the 18m are still too long in the leg, but fit fine on the belly. Almost all his shorts are 18m because that's what I bought ahead of time. They fit him, but are a little long.
He's got tiny feet though! His sandals are size 3w and his tennis are size 4.
We were in 12-18 exclusively, then she got taller and thinner... her shirts are getting short and all of the shorts/skirts are too loose around her hips. I've put DD in a couple 24 month dresses which have worked really well.
