Breast pad substitute?

I'm out of town through Sunday and realized I am going to run out of breast pads! We are at a cabin without shopping nearby. I have been wearing them almost everyday as a liner to protect from leaking and need to figure something out as a substitute.

Any advice on a short term fix to get me through a few days?

Re: Breast pad substitute?

  • If you have pantiliners or pads you could cut them in half and use those.  Not ideal but could work in a pinch.

  • Maybe some folded up toilet tissue or kleenex? Or if you have an extra receiving blanket or burp cloths you could cut those up?

I have totally done this one before. It works but put the cut side up.

Love this idea!! Thank you! Tried kleenex this afternoon and totally soaked through...so embarrassing : the pad should work!
