I've never heard it pronounced. I found it on another website it listed both of these as correct. If you saw this name what would you think? Curious. Thanks
Right? I thought Ay-zling at first. I like the sound of If you liked it would you go with Ashlyn? Does that just ruin it? I tend to like traditional spellings.
My Irish friends who named their daughter this say it similar to Ash-leen with a hint of a g at the end. Not enough of a g sound to know it's there, but definitely a hint.
There was a bed a breakfast in Ocean City, NJ that is now closed. The name of the BB was called Aisling's Garden. The owners of it pronounced it "AS LYNN"
There are 2 different names, Aislinn and Aisling. They are pronounced Ashlynn and Ashling, or at least this is what I heard when I lived in Ireland and my husband who is from Dublin says.
Re: Aisling
I believe it's a Gaelic spelling, a traditional Irish girl's name.
"5.01.09"
Ashling

I know 2 of them, and I like it. If I saw it, I'd think the person was Irish or of Irish descent
