Too Funny

DH just got home and I wasn't able to shower all day due to a fussy baby.  So after I finished feeding her I gave her to him and went to take my shower.  My shower turned into a long bubble bath for some relaxation and what do I hear as I'm sitting in the tub? A crying/screaming baby and my DH saying "Emery, stop. Stop crying. Just stop." FYI my LO is only 2 months old!  I couldn't help but laugh!

Re: Too Funny

  • Was today just the day for fussy babies? Mine, who is normally pretty content, was a sobbing mess today.
  • Lol yes it is funny when a grown man try's so hard to reason with a screaming babe. My DH does it all the time.

  • Mine starts to "count" like by the time he gets to 3 she will quit, I find it hilarious, hahaha
  • My hubby says "c'mon baby what's wrong? Tell me! Just tell me and I'll fix it". Lol

  • LOL.  I'm glad I'm not the only one who's DH does this!  DH does the "what's wrong", he also holds her and tells her "Daddy loves you, why are you so upset?"

  • Baby daddy says easy, eaaasy. He also says this to our dog when she's getting too riled up. Smh.
  • My DH walks and bounces or rocks DS, but its weird. It's like he doesn't quite have the rhythm right and he looks really awkward and a bit feminine. Which is funny, because he's such a manly man. I've tried to take a bath only once and before I even sat my fluffy self down in the tub, both of my kiddos were crying with DH. It was like zen when I left them 5 mins before and then all hell broke loose. Law of nature I guess.

  • Mh says "what is it poops" like LO will answer back

  • I think I am yalls husbands. I'm always trying to reason with DS and ask what the matter is. My line is "you are dry, you are clean, you are full, your momma loves you, what is there to be upset about?"

Mine was a mess yesterday, too.
  • Have you tried just taking the baby in the bathroom with you?? The sound of running water calms them

I put DS in his bouncy seat but my H just lays him down on a towel
