Ok moms who have swing sets- which one should we get for DD who is 14 months old:
the plastic one from step 2- OR the big wood one??
big price difference- $300 vs like $2,000
and I know the wood one will last long but who knows if we'll be in this house past 5 years and if we move I'm not taking a swing set w us-hmmmmmm
whats ur opinion ? Anyone have the step 2 plastic one? Do u like it? I'm leaning towards

We have that exact Step2 one - but we got it hand-me-down from my nephew b/c he had outgrown playing on it by the time he was 3.5
My 13mo & 2.5yo love it though (and it was pretty easy to move). You'll want to get a different swing (like this one for now - https://www.fisher-price.com/en_US/product/17776
The 13mo can climb the ladder/steps and go down the slide by herself.
I would get a wood one. My DD is 3 and won't play on the plastic ones, according to her they are "for babies." We got a step 2 playset second handed from my brother and DD won't touch it and DS plays with it very rarely since DD won't play on it. Both gravitate towards the larger wooden one in our back yard. If your house is a house that would draw in family buyers then a nice wooden play set could be a perk. That is how we got our current wooden play set, we bought it with the house.
We have a Little Tikes plastic set, similar to the Step2 set. It's great because: it was cheap, she can climb and go down the slide by herself but doesn't (hence why we are glad we didn't spend more money on something she wouldn't use,) and she only likes the swings anyway. Since our yard is small, it was perfect.
thank you for making it clicky!! And yes that's why I like the plastic one- she can do things herself on it- hmmmmm such decisions
