thoughts?

So I feel like im running in circles!
DS is Nathan Russell
DS2 is next to impossible to name so far!
Hubbys list so far is a whopping 3 names:
Thomas
Henry
Johnathan

My list:
Maxwell
Miles
Nash
William
OK So mine is not much longer..
So hubby just said he likes Johnathan and it's kind of growing on me. Wee were set on Henry but I feel as though it's beyond popular these days. So it's been booted to the mn spot 100
Thomas Henry is his fathers name and I'm not a fan of naming the baby completely after him. Miles and John are family names on my side. Hubby says the name should be masculine and classic. He is not a fan of "out there" or unique names.. What are your likes or dislikes and any other name options that fit?

I would skip Nash.  NMS, but it also sounds too matchy with Nathan.  Nathan and Nash sound like a pretzel company or something.

I like Thomas, Henry and Miles.  What about Jack or Jake?

Nathan and Jonathan are too similar in my opinion.

    I like William Henry

I have this concern also. I honestly think that's why he likes it.. I must admit though Johnathan is higher on my list than Thomas.
What about just John? Would that be weird?

I like just John. It's my number 3 boys name. I especially like John Henry.

I like Jonathan, Thomas, and Maxwell.  I love Henry as well but it is getting very popular.  Never been a fan of Miles.  William is just ok.  And I hate Nash.

Other masculine, classic boy names - Derek, Kenneth, Curtis, James, Scott, Paul, Kevin, Christopher, Wesley, Jeremy, Gerard.

I prefer the spelling Jonathan, and I love the name. Miles would be my second choice for a FN, though I like either Miles Jonathan or Jonathan Miles as a F/M combo

Johnathan or John get my vote. While Johnathan is similar to Nathan, if you use NNs a lot (John/Nate) it wouldn't be a big deal. But if it does bother you too much John as a stand alone name is great too.

I also think Nathan and Jonathan are a little too matchy/close.  But I do like John.  Had a good friend in college named Daniel John and I always thought that was very masculine sounding.

I think Nathan and Daniel would go well together

Haven't put thought into Daniel but seeing them together I'm liking it! Thank you!
