Paige Savannah was born on 6/18 and was 7lbs 9oz and 20 inches long. There was some issue with starting cytotec before midnight on Monday (38w6d) and they wanted me to wait until 39 weeks exactly in case I delivered early with cytotec alone. So after the OB checked me and I was still only 1 cm I was supposed to wait 8 more hours for cytotec. I actually started having regular contractions on my own after the cervical check and was 3 cm by midnight when they checked me again. So they just started pitocin at 1:0oam. I was ready to push around 12:45pm and she was out in 3 pushes! I couldn't believe how easy her delivery was compared to DS. I didn't tear at all which I also couldn't believe since I had a second degree tear with DS and he was 2 lbs smaller! Breast feeding is going well so far and we are headed home tomorrow.
