so i have an evenflo play yard suite 300 (ha! suite my bum!)
https://www.evenflo.com/product.aspx?id=390&pfid=5365
I chose it for the color- big mistake but it did get 3-4/5 stars on amazon lol its the hardest "mattress" i have ever felt ( i know there supposed to be hard but common) and it has 4 pannels that you can feel as you run your hand down it... there is no padding.. literally plastic with a thin cloth over it. It also seems VERY flimsy and i would be worried when he gets older of him jumping up and down in there (as you know all babies do)
SO - please recommend your pack and plays that are of better quality but hopefully under $200. We wouldn't use it enough to justify spending any more than that.
Thanks a bunch!

We've used it on a daily basis until this past weekend when we moved DD into the crib in her room. We never used the Newborn Napper, but used the changing table a ton, and the bassinet. The mattress does fold in three panels, but has a little bit of a cushion to it. If I remember correctly, the napper part was a pain in the butt to put together...not something you could easily put up and take down on a regular basis, but the rest is easy.
I'm a FTM so I can't speak to its use as an actual playard, but I think it's sturdy enough! Its served us well over the last few months!
I'm not sure that they are still making this exact model...I think its been updated with an increased weight limit on the changing station and now has some sounds...but the new one is still under $200.
just peeked and this one looks like it would do- i am sure my little one has outgrown the napper (plus hes rolling so no no ) but the changing table could probably still use! Mainly need for some overnights here and there
Thanks I am going to play at babies r us tomrorow- hopefully they have them wheere I can reach in and touch the mat!

We have this one...we're about to outgrow the napper/changer but it seems sturdy and we've gotten lots of use out of it so far.

I love the vibrating and sound features. We've used it since DD was a newborn and she likes it. The shelving comes in handy, but we will be taking that out when we lower the mattress all the way down,
