WWPD?

We are in our pjs, teeth brushed, just finished reading bed time stories and snuggled into my bed watching sprout when... DS2 remembers I said they could have ice cream after dinner, but we forgot. Do you go get them a dish of ice cream?

I would lie and say we ran out and will have to buy some tomorrow.
  • Hell no. It's bedtime.

  • I would probably do ice cream for dessert after breakfast the next morning and play it up like it is crazy special.

  • He got up and went to his bed crying, so sad, but fell asleep within minutes. Both boys are so exhausted they really need rest more than ice cream.
  • Ice cream for breakfast.
  • Funny, I promised Ds a picnic dinner and thought he'd forget. He remembered right after I set the table! Dh tried to talk him out of it, but I had to give in Bc I did promise!

I vote ice cream for breakfast :)

  • I would just this one time. Its not fair to set expectations and then say "nope" just because you forgot.
