Sure is quiet out there. Who all is off for the summer? Who is still working like me? Anyone have summer vacations planned?

I'm still working! I don't have much vacation time from work since I am still trying to rebuild after using 12 weeks of vacation time last year for maternity leave!
We're going to Italy this summer for 2 weeks. We leave on 7/27

Successful Cycle: 5/12/11 - 1000mg Metformin + 100mg Clomid(late response) + TI = BFP

After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!

After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
So I'll be around!
We are going to Topsail Island, NC in August. I can't decide whether to fly or drive yet. It's a 14hr drive or 2 1hr flights plus a 3hr drive.

No vacations planned, although I'd love to get away! DH's job makes it hard to get vacation time. Vacation bids are done a year in advance so planning is tough!

What's vacation?!
I'm still working and am around, but noticed that it's been pretty quiet around here! No vacations planned anytime soon for us. We have lots going on this summer with my brother getting married so most of my vacation time will go to that and a few long weekends here and there. I don't have much time to use after my maternity leave, plus I'm trying to build it back up for baby #2, whenever that happens.
ETA: Oh, and we're planning a big first birthday luau for DS in August

We already went on our "big" vacation of the summer but we have a lot of small weekend things in the next few weeks.
I'm taking a 3 day weekend this weekend and we're heading to Disneyland. DH and I are Disney freaks. It's a 6 hr drive from where we live and we will be driving during Bedtime for DS.
My cousin turns 21 in two weeks so we'll be going to his 21st I'm Reno and we also have camping plans at the end of the month. And it's only 3.5 weeks before DS turns 2! So I'm planning his party.
We are busy busy until the first weekend of July!
Have fun in Italy! I'm super jealous. I've never been to Europe, but would love to.
I am here for now!
LO is napping, I have a phone interview at noon which I am not really looking forward to since I don't think I'm really interested in the job.
i go back to work July 1.....no vacations for us since I will only have 6 days for the rest of the year. Not to mention trying to financially recover from my 6 weeks unpaid as well as a daycare bill seems impossible
its ok though, I am hopeful next year we can rent a house and do a week away

back to work July 1 so then I won't be around as much...I get two weeks off in July but we are going east to house hunt for the nov move.
I started back to work yesterday. Boooooo. I'm working from home this week and taking LO to daycare. First day was yesterday and she only slept an hour while there from 82:30 and was sooooo sleepy all afternoon but just fought it. Finally went to sleep at 8:30 and stayed down for 9 whole hours!!! It was amazinggggg. But I'm hoping she gets more sleep today, bless her heart. I'm counting down the moments until I can go get her.
Vacation...we're going to Hilton Head in early October. Can't wait!

I confess to lurking on the parenting board. It is very busy, and in the evening when I'm trying to put J down, it is a fun distraction.
Not really a vacation, but we are heading to new England for BILs wedding later this summer. I think we are going to be gone a week.

I wish I had the summers off, but nope, I work all year. It's been busy at work and we have three ladies out on maternity leave, so I am covering for them as well. Craziness, but it makes the day fly by.
Next week, my Mom, Grayson and I are going to the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. We are part camping in our camper, part staying in a cabin and part staying in a hotel, as the camp sites fill up so fast in the summer. I am SO excited! DH will be out of town for work so it's just the three of us. We also have an Orlando Disney trip scheduled for October with our friends and their kids.

DX: MFI due to Chemo/Stem Cell Transplant for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. RE said IVF is best option with DH's frozen boys.

Here! I *try* to check-in once a day. Sometimes I go a day or two now though since it's finally SUMMER and the kids started their music class, swimming lessons and E started her art class and toddler cooking class (so flippin' cute!). We spent all morning/early afternoon today at the pool with a couple of my mom friends and their kids (total 8 kids ages 2 and under!!!) and it was SO FUN. We've been keeping busy and I've been loving every second of it
Other than a trip up north to the lake I don't think we're going to do anything *big* this summer. I decided I didn't want to leave the kids for our anniversary so we're only going to be spending a night away. Maybe next year

I'm here and still SAHM, but just have been busier than usual. M's keeping me busier and busier every day!
My parents are finally coming in August for a couple of days. My dad still hasn't met M yet, and my mom only saw him when he was born back in Nov last year. Don't know what their deal is, seems like they're not interested in having a relationship with their one and only grandchild. I'm hurt but I'm keeping my mouth shut.
Well, my b-day is this summer and it's a milestone one. When DH had his milestone b-day last year, I sent him off to Amsterdam w/MIL (I paid for his ticket w/my airline miles). I was supposed to go with them, but I ended up with OHSS after ET, and my RE didn't want me traveling. So in a way, DH owes me something BIG for my b-day this year, but he's never a person who can come up with any planning (i'm the social event director in this household), so who knows.
I kind of want to go to Montreal, but I guess I need to get M a passport first!
