My son has a flat spot in the back of his head. At his four month check-up, the pedi said it was still within normal range for right now, and she expects it to get better on it's own as DS rolls over and sits up. I totally trust her, but I am still trying to keep DS off the back of his head as much as possible except for sleeping. He has an exersaucer, a Johnny jump up, a super seat (like Bumpo only it has a tray around it with stimulation toys), and I have an Ergo.
I try to rotate him around to these things throughout the day, but he really will only use them for 5 or 7 minutes. His favorite thing? His playmat, of course. And he can roll from belly to back, so I can't really make him stay on his belly. I am really trying to avoid too much time on his back, but it's just not feasible to hold him all day, and like I said, he won't use any of the toys that keep him off his head for very long. Any suggestions?

Really?! We have one those by chance. We got it as a shower gift, I just assumed it was for the car seat. I'll still try to keep him upright, but at least this will help when he only wants his playmat! Thank you!
I just realized that I do have the car seat one, not the noggin nest. Do you think it will have the same benefits? It looks very similar, except the car seat one has the neck brace thing.
