Domperidone

My LC suggested that I try domperidone.  I am currently taking herbal supplements (blessed thistle, fenugreek, etc) but haven't seen a significant increase in my supply.  So I have a few questions:

 1. Have any of you tried domperidone?

2. If so, did it increase your supply and if so, by how much?

3.  If you tried it, where did you get it?  I understand it has to be ordered from Canada but have had trouble finding somewhere to order it from.

    2. If so, did it increase your supply and if so, by how much?  Stopped supplementing completely after 3 weeks on it.

    3.  If you tried it, where did you get it?  I understand it has to be ordered from Canada but have had trouble finding somewhere to order it from.

    I have no response on the effectiveness of it since I just started taking it today, but it arrived 8 days after I ordered it. The website is Canadian (inhousepharmacy.biz) but my shipment came from an island near Australia. If you order from them, call it In for faster processing.

    Thanks for the responses.  I think I will give it a shot...it may be my last hope!

    One more question...if I start taking it, will I have to keep taking it as long as I breastfeed?

    1.  I've used it with two of my kids.

    2.  Yes it did. I was already taking herbs and have since weaned off of them. I am exclusively breastfeeding and dd is growing great so it has increased it enough.

    3. In house pharm is where I got it this time. Last time I got it from a compounding pharmacy.

    Depends on the person.  Some people take it a month or so and then lower the dose until they wean off with no issues.  I found I had to take about 10mg a day to keep my tiny supply. I stopped taking it when I got pregnant again and DS1 weaned shortly after that. That Jack Newman flyer talks about this.
