Shots and out of town

LO gets his shots Thursday. I'm planning on going to the beach sometime after that. I don't have a specific date set. About how long after he gets his shots should I head out of town? I know he could get a fever so I don't want to take him out too quickly. What do you suggest?

This. Even if he does get a small fever, they will just suggest you give him some medicine for it.

After DS's 2 month shots we left immediately for my IL's, a 3 hr car ride. He was fine.. No reaction to them other than crying when he was getting them.

I would go whenever you want. My dr said to give her Tylenol if she got a fever (101*). I would bring a thermometer and the tylenol and not worry. If something does go wrong there will be a hospital where ever you go but I am sure your lo will be fine
