  My OB instructed me to drink 32 oz. of water an hour before my 19week ultrasound and hold it. Torture, but worth it!

  I had a full bladder when I went to my 19wk u/s. The tech eventually had me empty my bladder to try and get a good look at my cervix.

  I literally just responded on another post down further about this.  My office didn't say to, but my tech thanked me for having a full bladder.

  I went for my 20 week US today they told me I could empty my bladder and had an awesome US I think it just depends on the dr

  I've had 5 or 6 scans already twins and they always have me empty my bladder before.
