  That's fine. Keep swaddling. We swaddled till 5-6 months. I think the jerking stops around 3-4 months but mine slept so well swaddled, so we kept it going.

  You can use sleep sacks after that. Mine use sleep sacks from 6-18 months.

  I think we were three to four months out before it really stopped. It is advised to stop swaddling once they start to roll. I had an early roller, but she transitioned to a sleep sack well.

  I think the startle reflex lasts until about 3-5 months old.  We swaddled DS1 until he was 3.5 months and DS2 until he was about 4+ months.  When they were done with swaddling, we transitioned them to Halo Sleepsack wearable blankets.

  if you're wanting to try the sleep sack instead of the swaddle blankets, check out the Halo sleep sack for NB which is a sleep sac and swaddle in one. I LOVE it because when it's 2A and I'm exhausted the last thing I want to do is try to remember how to successfully get my NB into the a swaddle without waking her up.
