Good Ice Tea Recipe?

Hi everybody,

 

Living in Ireland at the moment, moving to California in a few weeks! Was there last year and got hooked on ice tea. Can't find it anywhere in Ireland and I'm really craving it! 

Does anyone know any homemade recipes??

    All you do is buy the iced tea from the store. I use Lipton's or Luzianne.

    Boil water, steep, sweeten to taste and cool. That's it!

    They don't sell Liptons in Ireland you see... I've tried boiling regular tea bags mixing them with sugar and lemon and letting them cool but it doesn't taste very good :(

    Are you using black tea?

    I would let the tea cool before adding lemon.

    Then all you do is boil water, steep the tea, toss in some ice, and sweeten it to taste if you like.
