Prefolds to fitteds

Has anyone made their own fitteds out of prefolds? I am looking at purchasing the GMD Workhorses and am wondering if I could just make something similar? I just want an easy fitted type diap that is easy so LO can wear her wool to dc... If you haven't made these, have you used the GMD Workhorse? Love, hate? Any other less expensive fitted suggestions?

    I love my GMD workhorses! They don't look terribly difficult to construct, either. I think GMD workhorses are made from prefolds that are wider than most brands, definitely wider than Cottonbabies, so if you copy a GMD, I'd use their prefolds.

    I did it, but they only fit her for a short time... while I'm still using the rest of the same sized prefolds, I had to stop using the homemade fitteds months and months ago.
