Diaper wetness indicator

I want to try different diapers but I cannot seem to get away from relying on wetness indicator from pampers. Are there tips you use to tell a wet diaper?

  • It will feel squishy if you poke or squeeze the diaper.

  • We had some huggies for awhile that had the wetness indicator.. but liked pampers better.

This. Try rubbing a dry diaper together and that is what you feel when it is still dry..

  • This... the diaper will get warm, puffy, and squishy. As for the poo, I usually hear/feel our son doing it, but a good whiff of the butt can also tell you.

I use Walmart's Parent's Choice diapers. They have been great and have the wetness indicator.
  • We have a large supply of huggies and pampers with the indicator from the baby shower but I've never used the indicator.  Squeeze the diaper, if it's squishy it needs changed.  Compare it to a dry diaper and you'll feel the difference.  As for a poopy diaper, sometimes you just have to check.

  • Target and Costco diapers all have the wetness indicator too.
