Can I just use the dishwasher? And is this a one time thing, or am I supposed to do this every time we use a bottle? I was totally nesting, but this seems like a huge hassle so I might just order Thai food instead...
After you sterilize the bottles are you letting them air dry on a rack or drying them? I have read contradicting things so just wasn't sure what is really "correct".
I let them air dry. FWIW, I don't plan on sterilizing *my* nipples in boiling water, so I'm sure some germs are inevitable in this process! I just followed the instructions in the bottles' box.
We haven't done any yet so far but last time I sterilized once in boiling water before using them the first time. His pedi pointed out that once you leave them out in the open they're no longer sterile and are exposed to any germs in your house so that's pretty inevitable and she said only to bother re-sterilizing if baby had been sick.
