sick baby?

My baby has been really fussy all day and just threw up a little. It looked like spit up but some came out of his nose too. He doesn't have a fever.. Should I call the Dr?? I'm worried..

Re: sick baby?

  • Whenever my baby spits up, it comes through his nose. Should I be concerned?

  • My baby just hasn't really spit up at all. So I didn't know if it should come out of his nose

If it's Coming Thru The Nose It Has More To Do With Their Position. Real Vomiting Is very Different from Spit Up. Volume, Consistency, And How, Like Projectile, All Different. Just Keep Monitoring Baby For fever And If You Are Still Worried Or Anything Gets Worse Or Changes, Call Your Pedi.

DS has had it come out of his nose a couple of times and he's good. As long as baby is acting ok and not hurt or sick, I bet everything is just fine.

  • I would just keep an eye on him.  The doctor will probably say the same.  As long as he is happy and has no fever it could just be a one time thing.

Yep. Our pedi said coming out the nose is completely normal. My LO spits up more out his nose than his mouth.
