Molly arrived on Friday 5/10, and she is doing great! Things are a bit crazy right now, though as you can imagine. Sorry I've been such a slacker the last few weeks on the check in. You'll be in better hands with PA I"m sure Smile

Congrats again on the birth of Molly Gregermis!

Nothing new to really update here. I posted a little early with a pretty boring quick update on me and the happenings on baby prep!

For diapers, I'm doing disposable and have leaned towards Pampers....we'll see what little man prefers when he gets here!

Other than that, I just can't believe how close we are getting to meeting our LO!

I feel awesome so far! Things have been going great, except that I found out yesterday that I failed the glucose test. So, I'll have to go back on Friday for the 3 hour test and hopefully will pass that one! Otherwise, baby is doing great and kicking stronger every day.

QOTW: We decided to go with cloth diapers, but did register for disposables to use in the hospital and on trips.

Biggest congrats to Gregermis! After such a long road, it is brilliant to see your little prize arrived safe and is doing well.

How are you feeling? Any exciting news or updates? NST today, OB tomorrow and next NST Friday. OB was ready to induce me last week and also caused a lot of bleeding after my internal so not looking forward to tomorrow's appointmet. I am still on modified bed rest and get very light headed and nauseous if I am not laying on my left side. I feel fine so quite annoying. I am sure I will have an update after tomorrows appointment. Trying to get everything done in case we have the "induce" chat tomorrow.

QOTW: What?s your plan for diapers? Cloth? Disposable? Brands? I am going cloth all the way, why not, better for LO and better on the purse so we will see how it goes!

I'm feeling much better now that they put me on modified bed rest. The edema in my hands and feet have improved and I have no other signs of pre-e so my doctor is happy with his decision to pull me out of work 2 weeks sooner then expected. I passed my GBS test too which is nice. Not that it matters much, but I am 2cm dilated and 80% effaced! Getting excited about meeting my little guy soon!

QOTW: We decided to go with disposable diapers. DH isn't comfortable with cloth so that's where we stand. Maybe he'll change his mind if we're lucky enough to have a second!

Update: 33 weeks and counting... everything is going well, other than me feeling overwhelmed at how little time is left and how much we still need to do!

QOTW: We're planning to use cloth diapers (beginning with Green Mountain prefolds and fitteds, then probably pockets once she fits in one-size) at home, but daycare doesn't do cloth, so she will be in disposables for daycare only. Probably Pampers.

Congrats to Gregermis, JMorta, and all the other new mommies since I was here last! So sorry I've been MIA on the boards for a while. Was busy trying to wrap things up at work before finally going on maternity leave at the end of April. It's nice to be away from the pressures of work, but as of today we're STILL WAITING for LO to arrive!

He's now four days overdue, and is showing NO signs of wanting to come out -- even though I've been doing everything that I know of to try to "encourage" him to make an appearance! At our OB visit yesterday, my cervix was still completely closed, and Baby is sitting high, still at negative station. Induction is scheduled for this Friday, but Dr. has warned us of the possibility of CPD (Cephalopelvic Disproportion), making things difficult for LO and me; so a c-section might also be on the horizon. We'll have to see how things go.

To say that I'm discouraged is a bit of an understatement, but at this point, all I want is for little Boy to arrive safe and sound -- however he chooses to get here!

Congratulations new mama!!! Molly is an adorable name! Updates: baby is not breech (dr had thought she may be last week). We have a 30% chance that she may not have a club foot. This was huge for us. Even if she does have one, its mild. Dr was very optimistic that her foot will be fully fixed and she will not have any long term complications from it. QOTW: disposables. With our busy household and childcare, disposable was our best option. I have been buying diapers all along: pampers, huggies, and luvs. I have over 1000 diapers between sizes N-3 in the full range of brands. I hate how much these things cost so I bought when on sale/coupons, etc. Yes, I know I went a little nuts.

Congrats, Gregermis!!

It's been a while since I last checked in, but tomorrow is the official due date! I still don't have any real signs of labor other than some increase in BHs, but they are still pretty painless. I had an ultrasound on Monday and he is estimated to be just over nine pounds, so they are not going to let me go too far past the 40w mark. I'm still not really very uncomfortable, but DH and I just want to meet him so much!!

QOTW:

We are going cloth. We have been preparing for weeks and we are currently set up with dozens of prefolds, a bunch of snap and velcro covers, liners and snappis. We are actually kind of excited about it! We got the special detergent and everything! I am still working on training DH on his technique, however...

Congrats to those with outside babies!

I am feeling pretty good, considering I am 38 weeks. She is SO much squirmier lately...I thought she was supposed to be running out of room in there! I got my iron up a bit, but OB wants it a little higher. Nothing particularly exciting to report. I am really hoping she stays put a little longer, as there are some major plumbing issues that need to be resolved ASAP, and I would really like them done before I go into labor...I think my plumbing anxiety is drowning out potential labor anxiety right now, which could be a good thing.

QOTW- we are going cloth. I switched to cloth pads a while back and totally love them (also had almost no cramping on them, not sure how that works, but not going to complain!) Cloth just seems easier for us, cheaper, and better for environment/baby bottom. We got GMD prefolds and fitteds, and a few different covers.

Please add me to the list, this is my first week on the 3rd Tri check in, due date 8/11/13.

Things are moving along so quickly. We had a NST and ultra sound today due to decrease in movements felt. Everything checked out great with the little one. It was awesome to see her looking like a little human.

QOTW: We will be using disposable diapers.
