Soy Formula and Boys. Is Gentlease an option?

I recently have had to start supplementing for my LO who is nearly 6 months. He is having one bottle a day due to my decreased milk volume.

I noticed though that the Gentlease formula contains some soy. Has anyone heard from pediatrician about this issue? Our appt is in two weeks.

    I dont completely know but have heard some pediatricians dont recommend soy for boys b/c there is some research saying the hormones in soy can cause possible issues for boys down the road. I am hoping to learn more.

    Soy is an endocrine disruptor.  Some people worry about it more in boys.

    I think most formulas contain at least some soy.  Not as much as a soy-based formula, but it's there.  We use the basic Similac and it definitely contains soy.
