Yes. We introduced it at 13 days old because he wanted to comfort nurse constantly. He decided he likes the Tommie tippie pacifier. I tried several types.

Night 3 home from hospital...at about 2am. She took it...I slept. She wasn't overly fond of that brand but did take it when upset for a few weeks. I kept trying other brands and she ended up loving the Mam brand. Mostly because it stayed in her mouth.
We finally introduced the Soothie last night, after about 3 hours of no sleep and a fussy newborn. I was not hoping to use one, but the lack sleep was really getting to us, as well as the crying. We gave one to Charley and she spit it out after she fell asleep. She's 6 days old today...
We are trying not to use one but only in dire straights...
I gave the soothie on day two with both my kids, I push it early because I've heard too many friends who waited a week or more and then their babies wouldn't take them.. I really wanted to be sure they'd take them!!

LO got one on the way home from the hospital. We've always used mam. He's pretty particular about when he wants and doesn't want it. If he doesn't want it e doesn't want it!
LC actually suggested we try it around 2-3 weeks. DS was 'snacking', between feedings and thought pacifier might help. Tried tomee tipee, but he prefers nuk.

DS spent his first night in the NICU, and I saw that they had a pacifier in his basinette. Not sure if he even used it, but we did try several times ourselves at the hospital and at home and sometimes he takes it, sometimes he doesnt. it's very random.
we have a gumdrop soother from the hospital and a brand called "parent's choice" - he switches back and forth.

The first day, I gave him a Nuk brand, he liked it but it kept falling out...a week later I tried Mam and he likes it a lot. He is 5 weeks and knows when he wants it and when he doesn't..sometimes he doesnt want it for a whole day.. sometimes he needs it after every feeding.
We introduced it at around ten days, but my baby had a strong latch and was an expert breast feeder from day one so I felt comfortable doing so. My son likes NUK but can't keep it in his mouth for long. I also tried the newborn MAM but he didn't like that as much. We can use a paci to soothe him when we are holding him, but it's not something we can give him and walk away because it falls out of his mouth a lot and then he starts to cry again.

He doesn't take one. We offered it when he was a week old and wanted to suck but didn't want milk and he took it a little bit for about two weeks then hated it. None of my kids liked pacifiers. They all spit them out angrily.
We introduced one at 2 weeks and he refused to take. He finally started taking one at 8 weeks...and that's only if he's sleepy at night. We're using Soothies.

2 weeks old, I've only tried a few times but so far she isn't a fan.
