Two weeks PP and I'm still using a huge overnight pad. It's like a heavy period and I'm still passing clots every time I go to the bathroom. I don't remember how my bleeding was at this point with DS1. When does this start looking better? I'm gunna go broke from all the pads I'm using!
Yeah, I assume it's different for everyone but I'm in the same boat as you.. I'm 12 days pp and still going through a lot of pads and passing a lot of large clots. I really hope it thins out soon.
I bled a lot more and longer with my first DS, I think. This time I'm 12 days PP and I'm just using a very thin pad and its turned to brownish yellow. Once in awhile I get a little gush, but I'm really surprised hoe quick its slowed this time. Now my hemmorids are a different story. Yowch!

Ugh, don't even get me started on the hemorrhoids! So terrible
I'll be 3 weeks pp tomorrow, but until Sunday I was still having a pretty heavy flow. Today is the first day I've been able to wear panty liners so I'm hoping it eventually stops.
i'd call your doc if you are still that heavy, particularly in light of the clots. i'd get gushes at 2 wk pp, especially during pumping and hot showers, but clots were gone.

I am in an interesting predicament. I am 5.5 weeks pp. mine had stopped, I did not need to use anything - and then a day later it started up again...... And this time it was red, period like blood? I honestly questioned if it was a pp period but I have no cramps, nor has it been that heavy so I don't think that's the case. Really strange either way.

That seems like a really long time. Have you told your dr? The heavy bleeding stopped around day 3 for me.
Same here, the first day was horrible, sooo much blood, it was like a murder scene every time I went to the bathroom. day 2 was better and by day three it was like a normal period. I am one week in and it's like a very light period. I am still using the overnights, but mainly because they are big and I don't have to worry about random leakage. I could get by with a regular.
Some days mine is pretty light, but other days I'll feel a big gush and have to run to the bathroom before it leaks through my pad. I also wear overnight pads every day still. I sometimes have clots, but not every time.

I thought about this but wanted to see how it was going for others first.

I also get the gushes multiple times a day still too. I hate it and feel like I need to shower several times a day
I'm 3wks PP and still using a heavy pad. My body definitely lets me know when I've done too much. The other day I was bleeding so much that I pulled out one of the packages of meshy panties from the hospital so I didn't ruin any of mine =[
I'm 1.5 weeks PP and just went to my OB yesterday bc I'd felt like the bleeding picked up and I'd started having clots. They did an ultrasound and found the clots and gave me a prescription for something to contract my uterus to Try to get them out. You're not alone. I don't see this going anywhere in half a week.
