Pregnant after a Loss

XP: decreased appetite and nausea at 30 weeks?

Trying to figure out if what I've been feeling for the past couple of days is normal or not. I ran a low fever on Sunday. 100ish, then began to feel nauseous and had a decreased appetite.
Since then the fever has gone down but I can barely finish a meal and at times I'm still very nauseous.
I haven't gained much weight maybe one pound in 6 weeks. I saw my OB last week and she wasn't concerned.
So has anyone else had decreased appetite and nausea this late in their pregnancy? FWIW, I didn't have morning sickness at all early on.

  • I obviously have no experience in the 3rd tri department, but I've heard certian symptoms like frequent urination and nausea can come back when you get further along. Baby is pushing on everything in there, so unfortuantly your stomach gets a little squished. I hope your appetite comes back soon and you start to feel better!

  • I wondered if the decreased appetite was LO crushing my stomach? But the nausea has me totally stumped :

  • I have had less of an appetite, I have also had an increase in heart burn and rifting, which in turn makes my stomach turn. I was nauseous yesterday. I think it is normal but, I would ask your doctor if it gets too bad.

  • Thanks everyone, glad to hear I'm not alone! I'll send a note to my Dr, I'm on byweekly appointments so I don't see her again until next week.
My best friend who is a nurse suggested I go get a milkshake for calories and calcium.....it sounds delicious so I might do that today!

  • I'm not 30w, but my ute thinks it it :). Yes, definitely decreased appetite.  No nausea, but I've heard it's pretty common.  I am also not gaining much weight :/

i hope you feel better soon!
