What have your kids said that have surprised you??
This morning after buckling dd and ds in the car, I climbed in the front seat and said, "Ugh, my bones hurt." Five year old dd says, "That's because the baby's head is in your privates."
My son knows that he was born by csection. He knows that his baby sister will be "cut out" of Mommy's tummy just like he was. He pictures the OB like a ninja in scrubs and fully believes that the OB uses a sword for delivery....
I was at my sisters house on Sunday for Easter (we are greek) and I wasnt feeling so hot so I laid down on her couch. My 3 year old niece comes in and says "Whats wrong Aunty? You no feel good?" I told her no, my belly hurt a little because of the babies.
She looks at me and goes "Just take them out then and come do a puzzle with me."
Those are hysterical. I don't have any little kid stories but I teach 8th grade and had a boy ask me if I went into labor in class, could he be the one to pull the baby out. My face must have been priceless with the shock. The rest of the kids took over for me with the "dude, think about that for a sec," comments. He was pretty embarrassed after that.
My 4yo DD told me I couldn't go on a walk with her and dh because I walk too slow now...
Also regarding bfing, she's very curious, so we've been talking a lot about it. She told dh he can't feed the baby from his boo boo's because they're not giant like mama's Lol!!!! Nice...

It seems like my DS is on a roll lately and it is so hard to answer his questions/ respond to his comments without laughing!
They one he said that keeps me laughing - He has this tape measure that he plays with all the time. He likes to 'measure' things and spout off numbers. He came into the kitchen one evening and asked if he could measure me, I said Yes. So instead of having me hold the tape measure up my head and him measure my height, he takes the tape measure across my butt and says '66 - Mommy you are to big for our house.' When I started laughing, he told me 'Mommy that wasn't funny, I am being serious.'
She stared at my stomach last night realizing for the first time that baby moved around. Her eyes were huge and concerned and she said, "mommy tummy moving!" I had to tell her all was ok. She's only two so she's just getting into some humorous commentary. The funny thing was this week when DH and I were tickling her she went "guys, guys, ok guys!" She's turning into a little kid! Ah!

That is amazing! I'm definitely telling DH about this one, it'll crack him up.

My son wants see see daddy "cut the rope" the baby is attached to me with.
At church last Sunday, I had to go outside because I was so uncomfortably hot (Greek Palm Sunday, so it was packed)
There was this little girl playing, she was maybe 4 or 5. She walks up to me so sweetly and asks "Are you going to have a baby?"
I said, "Yep, a little boy." as I was smiling.
Then her tone goes totally bratty as she says, "Oh, I thought you were just fat." as she skips away. I couldn't stop laughing.
A few days ago I was making dinner and DH walked by and slapped my butt. DD yells from the table, "DADDY! Don't spank Mama's gyna!"
Monday we were getting ready for a playdate...
Me: Come get your shoes on we have to leave in a minute
DD: I'm busy reading (She was looking at the disclosure statement from a credit card)
Me: You can finish reading after you get your shoes on we have to meet your friends
DD: I'm reading, I need my education
OMG just choked on my bagel! Too funny!
I love this thread--keep them coming
