Cloth diapers. 

Like I really need help.

More specifically, I'm addicted to Applecheeks cloth diapers. They're by far the best. I've been selling my other brands to buy more ACs.

The other day, I bought a discontinued, hard to find one for 41$. I'm paying 50$ for another one soon.

Did you know that the resell value on this brand is crazy high?

One sold on spots corner the other day for 160$. Another sold for 145$.

I look at it as an investment. Like the stock market. Low cost, high resale value one day.

If only DH saw it the same way...

    It's totally an investment, haha! I'm addicted to cloth diapers as well as carriers! I've got a ring sling and mei tai, but I just had to have a wrap, so I ordered one last week! PayPal is my enabler! I just tell myself 'it's for the baby'!!

    I'm not addicted to CD, but maybe its because I took the cheap route and opted for prefolds and flats with snap covers. I haven't tried anything else. But I am super happy with my CDs and I am overly proud of them, like I go out of my way to show them off to strangers! And I also want to "try out" as many types of prefolds and flats as I can.

    I also second the carrier addiction. I have a moby and an ergo but I'm about to buy a mesh ring sling and I plan to make a gauze wrap soon.

    LOL! Have you used Applecheek's swim diaper yet? I just got mine in the mail and its so thin I wonder how it keeps anything in! I was thinking about giving it a test cruise in the bath tub before taking him to the pool, or anything.

    But the covers for the prefolds are sooo cute! I have to try to stop myself from unnecessarily buying too many. We don't really NEED more than maybe six, and I stuck to that for Assunta Store's tiny covers. But once Amelia is in the regular onesize, there is a very real possibility that I will cancel out a significant portion of our savings over disposables by purchasing way too many covers. :p

    I love the thirsties duos and, yes, I just indulged in two vanity covers! But usually I pass up the ones just for adorability b/c of our tight budget. I have ten duos, six of them were bought by a relative and they are all honeydew Crying, the first two I bought were ocean blue and meadow, so I had to get rose and orchid when team green turned team pink! Party!!!

    Swim dipes are only meant to hold in poo, not pee, but since BF and FF poo is so runny it will go straight through them anyway. I've heard you can use an unstuffed pocket diaper as a swim diaper though.

     To OP, how is the resale value that high?! I have one Applecheeks, and it's a limited edition color made specifically for Lil' Tulips. I love it. I'm going to have to buy some more. I'm planning on using these dipes for 2-3 kids so I think as long as I spend less than $5000 I'm ok ;)

    I think this every time I look at diapers! i feel like an addict! 'my problem is I keep telling myself "bigger rotation higher resale!" Totally justifies each purchase... I'm on a tight budget as Ive been living off of savings till I go back to work. I'm going without shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and not getting my eyebrows threaded which is huge for me but I would rather do without and buy that ONE diaper I must have. :/ I'm ashamed to admit this but I am excited to go back to work so I can buy more cloth....but I will work minimum hours just enough to but new much needed cloth. And to justify my addiction some days I seriously feel bad that everyone who wants to cd can't and I want to buy them cloth. At least I'm not a selfish addict.
