Final Poll: Wesley or Elias?

Which would you choose? Bonus points and imaginary chocolate cake sent your way if you explain why you voted a certain way.

I'll be so glad when we finally choose. This is driving me crazy. This is my final question to you guys, I promise.

Wesley Otto

or

Elias Otto


If you had a boy born tomorrow, which would you pick?

ETA: Sibling names are Hazel and Genevieve (NN Evie).  Last name is two syllables starting with "Norg".

    at first i thought wesley, until i saw the middle name. i like it better with Elias. plus, i like eli better than wes as a nn. :)

    I think that Elias sounds better with Otto than Wesley.

    I pick Elias, but I'm a little biased.  That's what we named our 2 year old.  For us here in Alaska, some meaning behind it - inspired by Mt. St. Elias

    And Elias would probably end up with the NN Eli. Mainly because that is the way I got my DH to agree to it.

    I really, really love both of these names. I think I love Wesley slightly more, but I think Elias sounds better with Otto.

    Gosh, that's tough. I honestly like them pretty equally.

    Which sounds better with your last name? That might be the tie-breaker for me.

    I love both!  But I am going with Wesley because Elijah and Eli as a stand-alone name are both popular.  I love the nn Wes.

    I love Eli as a nickname, but I'd prefer Elijah or Elliot as a full name over Elias, but i still like it. I liked Wesley better, but it doesn't sound good with Otto, so Elias by default.

    I like Elias better. I wish I could give you a good reason but I don't really have one, just prefer the look/sound of it. And Eli is a cute nn. =)

    See, that's just the thing. Elias sounds MUCH better with Otto, but doesn't sound as great with out last name. It's a Danish name, two syllables and starts with "Norg".  When you say Elias with it fast I think it sort of makes a "Snore" sound. 

    My DH says he doesn't hear it, though, so I'm probably crazy.

    I just have to say in general, THANK YOU for all the responses! I'm going to show them to DH. Hopefully we make a decision soon, because I'd like to start using little one's name!
