Hello everyone. I am still in my 1st tri BUT I already know my babys name MUST and WILL start with a "Z"
For a girl I like "Zayd" and for a boy, "Zane"
Does anyone have any suggestions on other "Z" names for boys and girls? I looked up stuff on the internet and was getting freaky things like zenohia and zedijanus!
Must start with Z and not sound like some made up language or a weirdo freak!
Re: Inputs, unputs
Zebediah, NN Zeb
I like Zara for a girl.
Boys: zeke or I prefer Zade for a boy spelled this way
I agree with PPs suggestions of Zara for a girl. When we were at the kids section of Barnes & Noble the other day, my daughter was playing with this toddler named Zara and she was such a cutie. :-)
While commonplace (and maybe dated? I dunno), I think Zachary is nice for a boy.

LOVE Zoe.
For a boy I'd pick Zachary or Zane.

I did NOT know Zayd was an arabic boys name. Hahaha I came up with it from my head. Well thats marked off!
Zara is cute. Would that be Zah-ra or Zara with a long A.
My 9 year olds name is Zachary so I am glad everyone suggest that name
And the reason I am stuck on "Z" is because 9 yrs ago when I had Zachary, I said if I ever have another it will be a "Z" too and my son likes that idea, too
Middle name has to start with a "J"
And so far for a boy: Jacob or Jaxon
girl: Juliet or Jude
You beat me. I was just about to ask that. I guess I'm nosey also.
OP- I like the suggestions of Zara, Zoe, Zane, and Zachary.

I think Zane is okay. I don't like Zayd though (for a boy or girl).
For girls:
Zara
Zoe
Zelda
Zemirah (I never heard this before, but just found it on my baby name app and it means joyous melody, it's Hebrew, kind of nice)
Girls:
Zoe
Zella
Zita
Boys:
Zeke (Ezekiel)
oooh Zariah is nice
Zara/Zaria, Zoe/Zoey/Zoya, Zelda, Zivia, Zinna, Zenia, Zita
Zachary, Zeke, Zev
I like Zoe, Zelda or Zara for a girl.
I really like Zane for a boy (I had an ex named Shane though, so it was too close for us to use) and Zander. You could even go with Zavier. I had a friend just name their son Zaber, not a big fan of that, but another suggestion.
i really like zara and zoe.
i don't really care for any boy "z" names.
Zebulon, nn Zeb
Zola
I once knew a Zia
40/112
For girls: Ziva, Zuzanna
For boys: Zane is alright. I like Zed.
Boy: Zachary, zebedee
Girl: Zoe, zelda
Yeah, Zayd would be fine for a boy, not a girl.
I like Zane for a boy. *Maybe* Zion (though it's NMS). I like Zara or Zoe for a girl.
I love Zoe for a girl. It's the only Z name on my girls list. Someone said Zariah. I've never heard that, but I like it a lot. Juliet is a good MN for a girl, but I agree that Jude is a boy's name. Maybe Jade? It's close, and sounds much more girl-like to me. Zariah Jade flows together nicely to me.
For boys, I like Zeke. I think it's usually short for Ezekiel but it's a stand alone name. Zane is cute too. I like Zachariah but it's WAY too close to Zachary. Zander is cute, but I prefer Xander. I've heard Zeth and Zyler, but they make me think of Seth and Tyler. I've also heard Zarek (ZARE-eck)
I like Zyler Jacob or Zander Jaxton
I like Zeke and Zane too, but with different middle names.

Oh.... poor Zandrew! It sounds like Sand Shrew.
Haha -poor Zandrew - that comment made me giggle!
OP - my friend's niece is named Zaida (Zay-da) and I just think it's adorable. I'd go with Zaida Jae. Jae is my daughter's middle name
