I am stealing this from January.
What is the best thing about the area you live?
I used to live in Philly, so the best thing would be Cheese Steaks and Amorosa Rolls.... Now I live in MD, so the best thing is definitely the MD blue crabs :-)

Well being a Philly girl I will agree with the cheese steaks (now I want one, booo you wh0re).
I love the history of it all... I have been on the duck tours about 5 times with various visitors, and I love it each time!
When you drive anywhere you get to see lots of baby farm animals in the spring...?
Don't get me wrong, I love me some farm country, but let's be real, South Bend is not exactly known for being a wonderful place to live.
I live in Colorado and the weather is unpredictable and changes so fast. It was 79 degrees on Mon. and we have 16 inches of snow of Wed, but it is almost always sunny regardless. Each day is different and you never know what it's going to be like-I love that.
The town I live in is also has more beer breweries then any other city in the US, so good and inexpensive beer is plentiful here.
We were in Buffalo until last summer... there I would have to say the festivals- there is a festival almost every week in summer- wingfest, italianfest, polishfest, taste of buffalo... always something to do (again, in the summer).
Now we're in Westchester County... I love the small towns and quaint village aspect along the Hudson. I love the restaurants- we tried an amazing lil taco/burrito place last weekend. Best burrito I've ever had.
Growing up in CT, I loved two things... the county fairs in the fall, and the ocean in the summer (including yummy seafood at Lenny & Joe's Fishtale!)

It's going to take me a while to find the good.
Proud Mama to Mickey (12.03.09) and Nemo (06.06.13)
I live in Oklahoma and the best thing is the low cost of living. DH and I bought our house at the height of the market and we paid $125k for a 1400 sq ft house.
HAAAAAAA! It sounds AMAZING, and now I want to be there... btu don't forget.. It's the State that Edward Cullen lives in. DUH! And now that you said that you don't have to respond to my PM that I sent you 3 hours ago.

I live just about an hour from Lake Tahoe. We have amazing bike trails, hiking trails and a gorgeous lake. I already got our double jogging stroller, bike trailers, and a beach tent and we plan on spending majority of the summer at the lake
being far away from my crazy mother???
just kidding.
the weather. my DH and I went to college upstate NY, and then moved down here to VA 10 years ago and we love the fact we can golf march till october (except while you are pregnant!).

Good call! Lenny & Joe's is awesome and I can't wait for the Durham Fair!! It's always right around my birthday....love it!
I live in Southern WV. The best thing is the access to beautiful scenery. Also, the mountain breezes.
ETA: I also live close to the Hinton DQ. It is the best DQ anywhere. The food is amazing and the menu is not like any other DQ.
MH is from STL and we just went there a month ago for our baby shower and I forgot all the great free things you can do in STL: the zoo, the Budweiser brewery tour, the science museum and Grant's Farm. Plus all the free booze you get at most of these places like the brewery and Grant's Farm.
I live on the dry side of WA state so we get fabulous weather together with all the things Shea said. I'm 2.5hrs from Seattle, Portland, and Spokane but have 4 distinct seasons and love how even if there's snow on the ground, the sun will be shining. I'm in the heart of wine country and we produce the majority of the US's hops so plenty of beer here too. Our city is small enough that I can run into peopel I know at the grocery store or Costco and I know all my neighbors by name.

AH! I used to work at the Durham Fair- at kids place! It's usually about 2 weeks before my birthday too. Now I want Andy's steak and cheese and a Coginchaug frozen chocolate covered banana!!!!
Andplusalso I was in the Art Honor Society in HS and I helped paint the center area of the merry go round at Lenny & Joe's. Did you hear they opened a New Haven location?
Our lil' diva: late like her Momma: 40 weeks 5 days!

Best thing about where I live? Hmmmm I live in Cleveland, OH...so it might take me a min to think of something...
The cheap cost of living. yeah. I pay under $600 in a decent neighborhood for a good 2bd apt. Our sports teams. Yeah, totally joking about that last one! Although, our baseball team isn't doing so bad so far.
I love certain neighborhoods...like Tremont, University Circle, Ohio City...I do LOVE living near water. I refuse to not live within an hour of some body of water. our current apartment is 2 blocks away from the lake and we LOVE to walk to it.
Too funny! This making me crave fair food now....lol I just heard that they opened one up in New Haven. I kind of live equally close to both locations...H isn't a seafood fan though so I should probably check it out with one of my sisters or something. :-)
Are you in Ft. Collins?
I went to school/lived in Laramie for about 11 yrs. Loved the Ft. Collins/Wellington area. Actually if SO and I could pick anywhere to live it would be there.......except we refuse to be Greenies

I live in Manitoba and the town I live in is a large Ukrainian community. My mom is half Ukrainian so I get homemade Ukrainian food all of the time
That's true, I forget about most of that stuff! I need to do some of that stuff soon, it's been too long! Except Imo's Pizza...we have that all the time...with toasted ravioli! Mmm!!!

Ha, I just played bingo there a few weekend ago!
Rhode Island has beautiful beaches! I love love love it on the coast! And also everything is about an hour drive! Food wise... Dels lemonade
This! For me I would add being close to the beach, and mountains. Close enough to go to an amazing city. Also, Sam Adams, Cape Cod Chips, Yankee candle, and the Patriots!
