It feels like we haven't had one of those in a while, but with the lack of sleep, the PP hormones, and the frustration of not having a baby top hold yet that some of us are experiencing, I thought it would be a good idea to bring it back.
So. What are you thankful for today?
Re: Thankful Thursday
Aside from my beautiful, healthy baby, I am thankful for:
- The nice weather we've had this week.
- DH being off work.
- The $1K the Man owes me
- Coffee
- Hot running water
Also that the weather is warming up,
and that it's almost the weekend and DH will be home all day with us !
I am thankful for kellymom website the babywhisperer forums. Thank heavens for the internet!
I was going to say I'm thankful for kellymom, now I need to look into the baby whisperer forums?! Never heard of them!
I'm thankful of course for my beautiful, healthy children.. I feel so incredibly blessed.
I'm thankful for my husband and friends who have listened to me vent and ramble about the anxiety and hormones.
I am thankful for the weather!! It's been said, but with my DS he was a December baby and being stuck in the house for those first few months was just terrible! I love being able to take them both into the fresh air!!
I'm thankful for my beautiful baby boy and that he is a happy, healthy baby. I'm also thankful that he's a pretty easy baby.
Im thankful for the nice weather and that I actually get to enjoy it instead of being inside all day.
I'm thankful that when I return to work I will be working fewer hours.
So many things to be thankful for! I could go on forever
My mom, who has helped me so much as I recover from my csection and adapt to motherhood.
This weather! I've been able to get out and walk around the neighborhood with the baby two days in a row! For NE Ohio, that is big news!
Healthy baby, healthy me!
Supportive husband who does the best he can to help.
Family (both sides!) who totally love our little guy and want to do whatever they can to help us.
My mom gets a special shout out because she has been AMAZING.
A ton of girlfriends who have helped me figure out various things and shared insane amounts of valuable advice, insight, info, suggestions, etc.
Facebook! That sounds nuts, but it has put me back in touch with soem long lost friends who are mommies now and one of them even sent me a whole box of great hand me down clothes. Also, nothing better than comisserating with my other nursing-mom friends at 3 AM via FB messenger. ;-)
Warm house, reliable car, food on the table, money in the bank, steady paychecks. I know a lot of people don't have any of this.
