Should It Stay GP?

I am in love with Hosanna. I'm aware it's a shout, but I think it is beautiful. WDYT of the name? Would you side-eye a user of it? Should I keep it GP only?

  • I think it's beautiful.

  • I am over hear singing.
  • I start singing Hosanna from Jesus Christ Superstar.

It would be strange for a FN.

That's what I started singing in my head as soon as I read the question. But I love me some JCS so it makes me kinda happy.

I wouldn't side eye, but would assume they were very religious.

    Same here
  • Honestly, I would find it an odd choice.
  • What about Shoshanna? I don't know much about it except for it being a character name from HBOs Girls. Similiar to Hosanna but as far as I know, a legit name.
  • Hosanna, nickname Ho?

That was the first thing that popped into my head. I would keep this one as a middle/GP if you use it.

LOL that was my first thought as well. Not a fan at all.

I don't like it. I'm a Christian and the word reminds me of Palm Sunday which is not negative at all, but a strange choice for a FN.

Everyone I know named Shoshanna is Jewish. Just something to consider.

Susannah or Hannah would be good choices.  Or Johannah.
