Kind of 2 of the above. When it happens it's awesome and feels better than before. However, my sex drive still sucks, so that coupled with out crazy schedules leaves me thinking "what sex"?

Uhhhh it's been only 4 times since giving birth. And they all were excruciating. I also have no drive. But I'm still breastfeeding at least 6x per day.

I was so in your shoes a bit ago, but I say a vulva specialist (whom DH and I jokingly refer to as the vag whisper) and got an estrogen cream prescription and was taught how and where to apply it, the Dr. helped so so much.

It really took me a long time before I stopped having pain. For me it was worse if we had sex and waited more than a week to do it again. It was like starting over again. We made a point to not go over a week without sex. It still took a few weeks, but now I'm back to normal. Having sex every week also helped to get us back in the routine of having sex.
