How does everyone feel about River as a FN? I like it for a boy but the only one I knew of was River Phoenix. I did, however, meet a little girl named River June and thought it was adorable.
Eh... When a kid has a name like this, it always makes me think that the parents were trying really hard to be "cool" and "different" with their name choice.

What's GP?
I actually LOVE it, but it's not quite my style so I wouldn't ever use it.
I tend to think that many "nature" names are genderless-- so IMO Willow, Sage, River etc and be used for either.

Ohh, duh. I love it but my husband thinks it's too out there. It's not like it's a made up name or something.
I don't like it but I'm not really fond of nature names.

I LOVE River....I like it more for a girl though.
But that's because I'm a Firefly & Dr. Who fan....

But even for her, River was more of a nn.
I love Doctor Who, but I might side eye a River.
