P does it too. Especially when I put her down and she wants up or when I have to take something away from her. Screams and flails and arches her back. I can just imagine how fun our first kicking and screaming in public meltdown will be!
Yeah, Nolan has lost it when we've done something as offensive as take away the remote control or attempt to put him in bed for the night. What a spirited child he is!
Yep, Jack throws fits when I take something away from him, change his diaper (that's a lot of fun), or don't pick him up when he demands it. He's a pushy little guy!!

Yep. When taking something away or stopping him from doing something.
Oh, and when I don't pick him up immediately when he demands it, he stands as close to me as possible, clings to my legs, looks straight up at me and screams. What a delightful little guy!
I was going to create a post just like this today...my little guy was screaming in the car. At first, I thought he was scared or something since he's not used to riding at night, however, he's crying was more like forced and he cried and screamed the whole ride. He was louder when I tried to calm him down..
He also throws fits when I put him down after being held...and he absolutely hates the stroller and will throw a fit! I didn't think it started this early either...
I've noticed, though, that DD generally throws a temper tantrum when we're trying to take control over her in some physical way - change her diaper, stick her in a car seat, or pull her away from something that she wanted to play with.
It generally goes better if we try to communicate with her better, because she gets a better sense of what's happening and why. We have a diaper changing song that has almost eliminated the fits during diaper changes. When I put her in the car seat I first pat the car seat, tell her I need to put her in it, and tell her how long she'll be in there (she still gets angry, but not as angry). And if she's headed for a toy that she shouldn't have, I try to warn her first that she shouldn't play with it. A lot of the time now she turns herself around when I warn her.
J also bites when she's tired and ready for bed, in addition to the temper tantrums for all things listed above. She started throwing them when we would put her in her car seat, when we were still using the infant carrier, like smacking her head against the shell. Since we've switched her to her convertible seat she's been much happier. Kids are crazy.
Parker slams his head against the back of his highchair! It has to hurt!

Yup, we have that going on here too! I've learned that playing music, giving her a toy or anything to distract her usually helps
LoL I was just talking to my DH about this. Our DS throws himself face down on the floor when he throws a fit. I just laugh lol he usually does this when he's overly tired.
One time I went to the bathroom and he crawled to the door and was banging on it and crying for me to let him in lmao never a moment's piece.

i just choked on my cupcake and peed my pants from coughing so hard, while reading this. And I'm at work. Not good.

ugh, I don't get it! Why is a clean diaper such a horrible thing?! Jack does an alligator death roll to try to get up. The toy distraction used to work for us. Now, he takes the toy and proceeds to death roll. I thought my husband was gonna lose it changing him this morning!
DS is like me and very strong willed and stubborn...it should be "fun" disciplining him as he gets older...I figure at this point I am still bigger than him, so there is only so much he can do right now...plus sometimes i find myself laughing at him--I know I shouldn't, but he gets so animated I can't help it!

Jess does the same thing. I hand her something, she gives me a dirty look and drops it on the floor. She tries to roll but she's on a changing table and well, that just doesn't work. So, instead, I'll hold her legs up and she'll start bouncing her butt off the changing table or trying to sit up from a lying position, which doesn't work well either but it's hilarious watching her try and then get angry.
If you have a mobile from back when they were infants we put it on the changing table with DD and it worked like a charm (I hooked it to the lip that goes around the table). For some reason DS freaks out if I change him anywhere other than the table. Maybe he realizes it is high and I could die LOL. When I change him on the floor it is horrible he constantly tries to roll over and crawl away.

I have to give her a toy or it is a disaster. I still change her at her changing table and that works best for some reason she doesn't roll on that but any other surface she's moving all around.
