I'm having cramping, not super bad but definitely very noticeable, and this time with pink discharge when I wiped I know this can be normal, I also know this can be a very bad sign. Pretty stories please
*update*
Well, since the single swipe of pink discharge last night, nothing. I'm still cramping on and off but without the spotting I'm a lot less freaked out since cramping can be so many other things like my need for a proper BM lol. Since we're on vacation and crashed at my parent's visiting (and they'll be at work all day) I'll probably ask Mr.MM if he minds if we just relax on the couch today. Take it easy and see how things go. This week is going to be so painfully long waiting to get to the u/s and see if minimousy is ok in there.
Re: *Updated* Freaking out :(
Light cramps and spotting (with some even looking clot-like) at 8 weeks, 16 weeks, and 23 weeks. Not even counting the after sex spotting. I'm 32 weeks.
The cervix is so full of blood vessels and so tempramental and it's always stretching and going crazy in there...lots of reasons for cramps and spotting that don't mean that it is at an end.
Cramping is very normal in early pregnancy. Uterus has to stretch out and get ready for minimousey to grow .
With my DS, I spotted for about 2 weeks around week 6. ((((((HUGS))))
Big lurky loo hugs!
Some cramping is normal. As long as it's mild/moderate and not bad/severe. I had some with D's pregnancy that scared the crap out of me, I think I was about as far along as you are. The spotting could be something be unrelated to the cramping. It isn't uncommon for spotting to happen after disturbances down there...so DTD or even having a BM can cause it. I had it all.the.damn.time during D's pregnancy, especially in first tri. Usually it would show within 24 hours of a disturbance and then faded out quickly...but the level of the disturbance dicated the color and length of spotting (ie a pap was blood red and longer lasting whereas a BM was often done after an hour and light pink). Turns out I had sensitive cervix...basically the cervix has a lot of blood flow to it during pregnancy and any nudge would start spotting. Fun times for the pgal mind, let me tell you...
I'm crossing all the crossables I've got that it's just normal ute growth cramps and a sensitive cervix! Come on MiniMousy, you stay put and keep growing strong!

I had plenty of spotting during the first tri.
Married my very own GI Joe May 2002
I had this happening for several days around 11 weeks. To calm my crazy brain, my doc had me come in for a US, and our little blob had turned into an active little fetus since I had seen him/her last.
We had our NT scan two weeks after that, and that went well too.
FX crossed for you that it's just growing pains!
The freak out is totally normal and par for the course. Don't feel bad about coming to PgAL with it, that's what it's there for
I really hope the spotting stopped (and stays away until it's labor time!). Thinking of you and MiniMousy.

I had something similar over the weekend and these lovely ladies reassured me that it's normal.
How are you doing this morning?
Thinking of you honey. So glad to know the spotting stopped only because I know how worrisome it can be. I hope you get to rest and take it easy! Xoxoxoo!

Enjoy your relaxing day. If BM are an issue, Mr Metamucil ::try the free and clear, it dissolves in drinks:: is your friend. Some ladies also take colace. Drinking tons of water and eating fiber rich foods helps, too. If things get uncomfortable, a cup of coffee can also work.

thanks for the tips I've been doing pretty good but things slowed down yesterday after eating poorly on the road for a day lol. I'm back in business now but had a little more spotting when I went. It was more on the brown side this time though so I'm thinking it's just old from last night.
