Tough stain removal

Hi ladies,

I am using bummis prefolds and and having an awful time removing some bad stains.

I've tried sun bleaching them, but it's not working.

What do you recommend to remove the stains? I have a front load HE washing machine.

  • You are sunning them while they are wet, yes?

    The stains will fade over time the more they get washed, but if it's really bothering you just wash the diaper and when you go to sun it put some lemon juice on the stain before sunning. You'll have t

  • Cotton tends to stain. It doesn't really matter - they're still clean. Keep using them, keep washing them, keep hanging them to dry in the sun and it tends to eventually come out. Sunning really is the best, but one time might not get it all out.

  • I've heard the Buncha Farmer's Stain Stick works wonders on old/new stains.  I think Alicia has tried them.
