I am just 12 weeks into my first pregnancy and I know that every pregnancy is different. My doctor is not at all worried about the 8 pounds I've put on already but I absolutely do not fit into any of my clothes. Isn't it a little early to be having to wear maternity clothes? Almost everyone I know didn't have to start wearing them until at least 4 or 5 months so I feel like I'm huge even though the doctor says I'm not, but its just not comfortable for me (or baby) to squeeze into tight clothes.
Everyone is different, but I think I've gained about that much too! This is my second, but I feel like I am always eating...every time I feel nausea I eat carbs. 1st trimester is all about survival!

That's why I've gained too. Every time I felt nauseous I turned to carbs but haven't had any morning sickness in 2 weeks and I started exercising last week and still gained a pound today from my visit last week. Hahaha I guess as long as I don't gain a po
I know in the beginning of my first pregnancy was when I put on the majority of my weight, but it evened out as the months passed. Don't be concerned with the number, just what you're eating. I know it's hard to avoid
