sleep

My LO is a little over ten months and for about two months now he gets up at least twice a night. I can only get him to go back to sleep by giving him a bottle. I have tried giving him less formula hoping to "wean" him of night formula and I have tried just giving him water. He hates water and will cry till he gets milk. Any ideas?
