Not WM Related - what kind of vitamins do you take?

I'm curious what kind of supplements and vitamins you take? How frequently and what kind?

  • Crap, I'm supposed to be taking vitamins? I take none.  Should I be?
  • I take Biotin for my hair and nails a couple of times a week (aka - when I remember to take them).  I have a woman's generic vitamin that I bought in bulk with the intention of taking daily, but you have to eat with them and I never eat breakfast exc

  • I take a Rainbow Light women's multivitamin, with Iron.  If I don't take it, I feel pretty sluggish (body used to years of prenatals)!   In the winter, I add an extra vitamin C and zinc a couple of times a week. 
  • Still nursing so I take the Target (Up & Up) prenatals. Sometimes I also take a Vitamin D--like every few days, but usually not in summer.

    I'm taking prenatals now because I'm pregnant, but when I'm not pregnant I only take C during the winter months to help me not get sick.  I know I should probably take a multi-vitamin but I'm L-A-Z-Y.

  • I take a lot, but mostly because DH is into vitamins and gets mine out for me every day. I take a multi, calcium, vit. d, and fish oil.

  • Target Up & Up women's multi-vitamin, every day.  Years ago my GYN told me to take a daily multivitamin.  I did, and last year when my vitamin D was checked it was in great shape.

    I also take quercetin twice a day for allergies.

  • I've taken the up&up brand gummy vitamin for adults for a while now.   

    I also take biotin, b6, flax seed oil, fish oil, chromium picolinate, and an inositol supplement.  Basically anything that I read could help with the pco

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!
