breaking out of swaddle but "can't" sleep without it?

This has happened a few times in a row now when DS wakes up, his arms are out of his swaddle me...when I feed and try to re-swaddle him, he fights it like mad. I tried to put him down swaddled with his arms out, but that was useless b/c he knocked his pacifier out in two seconds.

Help?

We used the Swaddle Me with DS1, but then switched to Halo SleepSack Swaddles with DS2. The Halo ones are much better at keeping baby swaddled! If you think he still needs to be swaddles, you could try that. Otherwise, maybe he's done be
