What are some good portable snacks for a toddler besides puffs or yogurt melts or Pre packaged foods. I really don't want to carry around an ice pack.

    Freeze dried strawberries and bananas are my go to. Archer Farms brand from Target is good. No sugar added and they melt in your mouth. We also do crackers with peanut butter, any portable fruit like bananas or grapes, fruit cups packed in 100 percen

    Peanut butter crackers
    Raisins
    Blueberries
    Cheese sticks
    Waffles that I made that morning
    Banana, carrot or zucchini bread

    Freeze dried fruits are the fave around here for on the go snacking

    I do a lot of packaged food in tupperware as well: crackers or graham crackers with PB, Pirates Booty, veggie sticks, cereal, Annie bunny crackers, Kashi cereal bars.

    Fruit (cut up in tupperware or stuff in peels like apples), homemade muffins, and raisins are the most common snacks we take.

    What are you looking for snacks for? I mean, how long a time period? Most things will keep 1-2hrs without being chilled

    I just bought Kix because he needed a new snack besides Cheerios and he likes them plus they have lots of iron.  I freeze grapes and take them with me.  Also Fig Newtons, peanut butter sandwiches, and the Gerber yogurt doesn't need refrigeration
